Auto Dealers
Workers' compensation insurance for automobile dealers is written on a direct
basis through our field staff representatives. These are licensed agents who
serve automobile dealers only when it comes to workers' compensation insurance.
Service Lloyds introduced this program in 1982 when automobile dealers could
not find coverage due to market conditions. It was a natural fit for us, and it
supports the many other credit products and services we provide to our dealers.
 Independent
Insurance Agents
Because Service Lloyds' workers' compensation program has been so successful
over the years, in mid-2000 we decided to expand it to include independent
agents. In conjunction with the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas (IIAT),
we established the Comp Connection program as IIAT's endorsed carrier. This
program is designed to respond to the small-premium market ($1,000 to $150,000),
but we consider larger risks as well.
Our dedicated workers' compensation team provides outstanding service to
policyholders and agents along with aggressive claims and loss-control
management. One great benefit of this program is the support it provides IIAT

Managing General Agents (MGAs)
Service Lloyds has several MGAs with whom we write workers' compensation
insurance. Agents may choose to send submissions directly to us if they are an
IIAT member agent, or they may choose to go through their MGA.
