As the son of an automobile dealer, Patrick had the unique experience of working his way through the various departments of a dealership. These opportunities offered him a rare understanding of the way a dealership functions as a whole. Upon graduating from the University of Texas at San Antonio, he further broadened his dealership knowledge as a Legislative Affairs Assistant for the Texas Automobile Dealers Association. Patrick is also a graduate of the National Automobile Dealers Association's Dealer Candidate Academy.

Patrick has held a wide range of positions within Service Group, including Sales Trainer, F&I Trainer, and District Manager. In 2001, he developed Service Group’s Fixed Operations sales training program called Fixed Solutions. Because of his impressive track record, Patrick has been a featured speaker at NADA 20 Group meetings and NADA conventions.

As Vice President of Marketing – Finance and Insurance for Service Life and Service Lloyds, Patrick is responsible for management of field personnel and dealer acquisition and retention. He also oversees all training conducted by Service Group, which includes the curriculum at Service Group Academy and Service Group’s offsite training—F&I, Fixed, and Sales Solutions. Patrick writes a column called “Coffee Is for Closers” for Service Group’s newsletter, Service Group Advisor. He also contributes articles to F&I Management and Technology magazine.

Patrick is an AFIP-certified mentor and resides in Austin, Texas, with his wife and two children.
